How do I know what size to order?
Sizing is the most important part of ordering press-on nails. If you’re unsure of your nail sizes, we highly recommend purchasing a Sizing Kit before ordering a full set. Nail sizes can vary between hands, and a sizing kit helps ensure the best possible fit and comfort.
What if my nails are different sizes on each hand?
That’s completely normal. Most people don’t have perfectly symmetrical nail beds. Our processes are designed to accommodate this, and customization fields are available on all nail sets.
What happens if I order the wrong size?
If you believe you’ve ordered the wrong size, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help. Every order ships with a return label, and most sets that are unused and reported within 72 hours of delivery may be eligible for a return or exchange. Wear Time, Comfort & Durability
How long do your press-on nails last?
With proper prep and nail glue, sets can last 2 weeks. Adhesive tabs are better for short-term wear (1 day), such as events, photoshoots, or conventions.
Are your nails reusable?
Yes. When applied and removed correctly, many sets can be reused multiple times (3-5 times). We recommend using nail tabs to keep the inside of the nails clean.
Will press-on nails damage my natural nails?
No. When used properly, press-on nails are a gentler alternative to acrylics and gels. Damage typically comes from improper removal, not the nails themselves.
Are charm-heavy designs uncomfortable?
Charm-heavy or 3D designs may feel different than minimal sets, especially if you’re new to statement nails. These styles are best suited for events, content creation, or fashion-focused wear rather than heavy daily tasks.

Will my nails look exactly like the photos?
Each set is handmade, so slight variations may occur. This is part of the craftsmanship and individuality of handmade designs. We stay as true to the original design as possible.
Are your nails mass-produced?
No. Star Twix Nails creates handmade, style-driven sets inspired by Harajuku fashion, anime culture, and creative self-expression. Our designs are not factory-produced.
Do you offer custom nail sets?
Yes. Custom sets allow you to personalize elements such as length, shape, color palette, and charm style.
Application & Removal
Do you include everything needed to apply the nails?
Each order includes basic application essentials. Items not included that we do reccomend are a UV lamp, gel base coat, and cuticle nippers (with proper technique).
How long does application take?
Most proper applications take 15–30 minutes. Your speed will improve as you become more familiar with the process.
How do I remove them safely?
Never force removal. Improper removal is the most common cause of damage. Soaking and gentle removal methods protect your natural nails and help keep sets reusable. Mix warm water, dish soap, and nail oil to soak your hands. Gently pry the nail around the edges. This process can take up to 15 minutes for one hand.

How long does it take to receive my order?
Production time depends on whether the set is ready-to-wear or custom. Please order early (2 weeks) if you’re purchasing for a specific event or date.
Do you offer rush orders?
Rush orders may be available depending on current workload and must be confirmed before ordering.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only offer domestic shipping in the U.S.
